During the cold winter months I spend a lot of time shooting in my studio….which I love…..but sometimes getting outside and shooting in nature makes my heart happy. 

For Payton’s senior session we headed to the Bob Jones Nature Center in Southlake. I love this location because it’s has so many amazing locations you can use without traveling to multiple locations. 

The weather was perfect fall weather in Texas. There was gorgeous sunlight, tons of fall color and tons are areas to explore. 

 

I love when clients bring items that are important to them. For Payton’s senior session she brought her letterman jacket. She is a varsity cheerleader , however a torn ACL left her on the sideline for the rest of the year. This photo will definitely be one she cherishes as she looks back on her high school days.

 

And it wouldn’t be a nature center session without photos by the red barn. This is one of my favorite locations because of this barn. It’s so versatile and looks great in all photos.
