One of the things I love most about being a photographer is getting to meet amazing people, like Nicole! She is one of those people that you immediately know is way cooler than you, but is also really down to earth and friendly. When she told me that she likes to go to “festivals” and wanted to incorporate some of her festival outfits and props into her session, I wasn’t exactly sure what she meant by that….but I rolled with it! 

I honestly expected some sort of Renaissance Festival props 🙂 It turns out she meant music festivals! Cute shorts, hats and a feather fan were much better than the Corset and giant turkey leg I was picturing in my mind! 

I love how Nicole rocked her session with her own personal style. It’s a great reminder that sexy doesn’t always have to mean skimpy lingerie or lace.

To quote a popular song – “you look greatest when you feel like a damn queen” – and for some girls that means sexy lingerie, while for others it might be cutoff shorts and a body suit.
