I first met Lisel & Landon when I put out a model call for a fun engagement session I was planning.

Lisel responded to my request and we met up one Sunday afternoon at the Brewed Coffee shop in Ft Worth. I immediately fell in love with the two of them! They are so incredibly sweet, and anyone that spent more than 2 minutes around them could easily tell how much they loved each.

After the engagement session, I was secretly hoping they would hire me for their wedding which I knew was going to be amazing! They did, and as the big day got closer I was almost as excited as they were.

November 19, 2016 – Wedding Day

You never know what you will get in November in Texas, but it was a gorgeous day. The weather was amazing which allowed us to use the surrounding urban setting for portraits.

Lisel looked amazing in her Vera Wang wedding dress from Warren Barron Bridal and blue Manolo Blahnik wedding shoes (a gift from Landon).

The Carlisle Room in the historic district of Dallas, was the perfect setting with it’s intimate space and  1920’s Art Deco design.

You almost felt like you were stepping into a scene from The Great Gatsby.

Lisel & Landon said I Do in front of their closest family and friends before sitting down to a delicious dinner. As the evening moved on, heart-felt speeches from the maid of honor, best man and mother of the bride reminded everyone of just how special Lisel and Landon are.

As dinner was winding down it was time to cut the cake and move on to the party part of the evening. To kick off the dancing, the bride and groom requested that everyone join them on the dance floor for a group photo….nothing too formal of course!

The lights went down and the music cranked up as the party got started. This was one of the most fun party groups I have seen. There was even a dance battle or two!

As the evening was winding down, Lisel and Landon shared a romantic, private last dance before heading out into a showering of rose petals. They climbed into their vintage Bentley and drove off like a scene from a movie.
