When you marry someone, you are marrying an entire family. I inherited the most amazing family when I married my husband….which included his sweet niece Sydney . She was only about 13 the first time I met her, and she reminded me a lot of myself at that age. Over the last several years I have watched her grow into this beautiful, kind, amazing young woman with a huge heart and passion for others. 

Since she lives in Illinois we only get to see each other a few times a year, so I didn’t meet Eli until the weekend that they came to Texas for their engagement photos. Even before meeting him I could tell he was a perfect match for Sydney. 

I am SO excited for the two of them and the adventures ahead. I loved capturing the fun and romance of their engagement session. We started off at one of my favorite spots – Stone Creek Park – then headed to Bob Jones Park to end the night (after our plans of going to Downtown Grapevine were derailed thanks to a festival going on). The weather was perfect, the locations were perfect and the couple was stunning! 

Doesn’t get much better than that!
