Sergio and Libby are not only two of our closest friends, but they are two of the best people I know. Their love story began over a decade ago when they met while working together at a movie theatre. They have since moved toVirginia, braved the cold and distance from their families, gone through job changes, made the move back to Texas and renovated a house. In the midst of all that they got engaged. They planned a beautiful December wedding at Paradise Cove in Grapevine, Tx. Everything was set! December 7, 2013 rolled around and family and friends were coming in from all over to witness the wedding we had all been waiting for….and then Icemagedon hit the DFW area. Everything was frozen! There was no way to get to the venue so they had to make a decision….postpone the wedding or change their wedding plans. They decided to have the wedding at their house in front of the same fireplace that Libby’s parents were married in front of. It was simple, beautiful and perfect!

You are not seeing double….the groom has TWO rings. One for casual wear and one for dressing up |

Since Libby works with fingerprints for her job this was the perfect “guest book” |

This one makes me cry! The bride and her momma! |

One of the things that made this wedding so special was that everyone involved in the day was important to the couple. The “minister” that married them was their good friend Paul (remind you of a FRIENDS episode?) |
Since they had already planned the whole wedding and reception at Paradise Cove, they kept the venue and decided to hold a reception when the weather warmed up. So on April 11, 2014 we all gathered together again (this time with gorgeous weather) to celebrate the newlyweds. I guess it is only fitting that the couple who took over decade to get married would spread their wedding out of two different years!

This might be my favorite shot of the whole night |

Someone tell the groom that his “C” is backwards |

I even got in the photo this time! Can you believe that we were the only 3 people who did the Cotton Eyed Joe! |
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Molina! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you for letting me not only be a part of your special day(s) but a part of your life!
