About a year and a half ago Amanda and I started this exciting journey together with the hopes of building a wonderful business. However, life got in the way. With 4 kids (3 for her and 1 for me) two husbands, family obligations and other jobs it was really hard for us to find the time to meet and work together. SO….we have decided to part ways (on good terms of course). I will continue to work under Paisley Layne Photography and specialize in Children, Family and Senior portraits while Amanda is starting her own business under Amanda Dorris Photography. She has a talent and a passion for newborn photography so she is going to specialize in that area. Through this whole process it has been our priority to make sure that our friendship was not jeopardized (when you have been friends for 25+ years you don’t want to lose that for anything), so we feel that this was the best was to preserve what was most important to us and still do what we love.

With that said, Paisley Layne Photography will be getting a “face lift”. I am working on a new website and blog, changing up some of my session packages and pricing and have several sessions lined up for the fall…..so I am REALLY excited! Change is good and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
