You know you really love what you do when you lay awake at night dreaming up fun styled photo shoots. A few months ago my husband told me he was going to Las Vegas for a conference. I have gone with him in the past, but this time decided to say home with our daughters. 

BUT….

About 2 weeks before his trip I changed my mind. I needed a break, a quick getaway and something fun. So I told him I was going with him….and that I was going to do a photo shoot while I was there. 

I spent the next two weeks finding models, figuring out wardrobe options and putting all the pieces together. I met a photographer from Las Vegas that is moving to Dallas soon and she offered to help me with the shoot. Everything was in place!

I flew into Las Vegas on a Wednesday around 10am….and the shoot was scheduled for that evening. I still didn’t have an exact location so I met up with Sandy (the other photographer) and we drove around the desert – in my rented convertible – looking for the perfect spot.

That evening it all came together. Perfect weather, perfect models, perfect setting. While these photos were purely taken for the fun of it…I am completely in love with how they turned out.
