If you follow my blog or social media pages then you are probably familiar with this gorgeous couple by now.
We shot their engagement session in a super cool coffee shop in Ft Worth, then I captured their amazing wedding day in November at the Carlisle Room in Downtown Dallas.
After their wedding they decided they wanted to do a fun newlywed session, and since it was right around Christmas we ventured outside of Dallas to a Christmas Tree Farm.
It was COLD and MUDDY, but we didn’t let that stop us from having a great time.
In order to get to the Christmas Trees you have to take a ride on a tractor out to the fields….this was an interesting feat since they had their two dogs with them and there was mud everywhere.
Once we got to the field where the Christmas Trees were, we basically had the place to ourselves. We started off with some cute “family” photos with the dogs (before they got too distracted)
Once the dog were done for the day, and left with someone else to explore, Lisel & Landon got to get cozy among the trees.
But it wasn’t all lovey and sweet, we had some fun too!
I also learned that when you tell the husband to look back at his wife while carrying her on his back, there is a good chance he will run into something 🙂
To end the session, we asked a sweet couple walking by if we could borrow their Christmas tree for a few photos. People are really generous around the holidays!
I think it is safe to say that this is one of my favorite couples to photograph! They are just the cutest and could both be models in another life. I’m hoping I get to see them again in the future!
