It is everywhere this time of year. You can’t enter a grocery store without being bombarded with flowers, balloons and teddy bears. Isles are lined with greeting cards filled with sappy (or funny) quotes and poems about everlasting love. And don’t forget the commercials telling every man that a diamond, expensive lingerie or maybe a new car is the way to a woman’s heart. While I have never been a huge fan of Valentine’s Day I am a hopeless romantic and love LOVE! Chick flicks with grand (albeit sometimes ridiculous) gesturers of love get me every time. 🙂

So, when this month’s Blog Circle topic was LOVE, I had to think about what I really wanted to show. Was it the young love of a newly engaged couple…

the love of a parent and child…

 or maybe the undying love of an elderly couple who knows their time together is limited.

It wasn’t until this past Sunday’s church service that it hit me…..REAL Love! God’s Love! It is the ultimate love and it is His love that makes our love for each other possible. So, in this month of heart shaped chocolates, red roses and date night dinners, I hope that I never forget the true love that makes all things possible.
