I first met Christina last year when she and her then boyfriend modeled for a styled wedding shoot I was part of. They were the cutest couple and I knew it wouldn’t be long before they were planning their real wedding. (I was secretly hoping it would happen during our styled shoot, but it didn’t)
I was right, and a few months after our styled shoot I got the email detailing the adorable proposal. They hadn’t set a date yet but knew it would be in the spring of 2016, which also happened to be the same time that I was expecting my second baby girl. It didn’t work out that I was able to shoot their wedding, but after seeing Christina’s amazing wedding dress I knew I wanted to do a bridal session with her. As always, she was more than happy to model for me!
I wanted to do something fun and different. Something more than the typical bridal session. Since Christina lives in Oklahoma the Turner Falls Castle seemed like the perfect setting…and it did not disappoint! Despite the 100 degree weather and about a million stairs, Christina rocked it. She made it look easy and effortless. (edited to add that I can now share that at the time of this shoot she had just found out she was pregnant….talk about a trooper!)
Christina looked amazing and we had such a great time exploring the castle and falls. I am in LOVE with these images…how can you go wrong with such a gorgeous subject 🙂
A huge thank you to Ghost and The Bee for the gorgeous bouquet and floral crown!
