Tara sat in my studio, sipping champagne and getting her hair and make-up done prior to their engagement session. We chatted about their wedding plans and  I remember her telling me that she was nervous because they had never taken professional photos before and weren’t really “PDA kind of people”….. well, they could have fooled me. Their session was amazing and I think their PDA filled photos prove her wrong 🙂

We started their session in the Ft. Worth Stockyards. We discovered a cute little park area behind the stockyards that had gorgeous sunlight streaming through the trees.

It was at this point that they confessed to each having a drink (or two) prior to the session to help loosen themselves up….hence all the snuggling and cuddling. I’m tell you though, even without the aid of alcohol, these two were naturals. They were so cute together!

After leaving the Stockyards we headed to Tandy Hills; a park not far from downtown with gorgeous sunset views. Tara and Kevin went looking for the perfect park for their session and discovered this hidden gem. It was a new location for me, but might be one of my favorites now!

They are getting married next Spring in Tahiti (I’m SO jealous!) then having a fun reception and couple’s shoot back home, so keep an eye out for more from these gorgeous two!
