Kelly and I both work at the same elementary school and I remember when she first told me that she was pregnant with her second child I was so excited for her. I had only known her a couple of months at that time, but Kelly is one of those ladies that is so just easy to get along with. You feel like you have known her forever. When they found out they were having a girl I was doubly excited. I offered to take her maternity photos for her and when she said “let’s go someplace that you haven’t been yet” I immediately thought of the Colleyville Nature center. I had heard other photographers mention this location but had not been there myself so I was thrilled to try a new place. When I got there the first thing I noticed was a big playground which was perfect for keeping “big brother” Jake entertained later in the session. We walked around and tried out a few different spots as the sun started setting. It was perfect weather and I am so happy with how these turned out. I hope they enjoy them as much as I do and I can’t wait to meet their sweet baby girl soon!
