I love when clients want to do their session in Ft Worth. There is so much beauty in this city and a wide variety of locations that can fit any vision. For Katherine’s senior session we decided to go to the Ft Worth Botanic Gardens and the Kimball Art Museum. She loved the architecture of both mixed with the natural beauty each location has.
We started her session at the Botanic Gardens, and discovered that with their new shooting fee you also get access to the Japanese Gardens which made me really excited. I hadn’t shot there in years and knew it would match the vision Katherine had for her session.
After leaving the Japanese Gardens we explored the rose gardens for a short time. This is an area I am more familiar with and knew I wanted a shot of Katherine in front of stone archways. It my favorite spot! And does she look gorgeous in the blue romper!
Our next stop was the Kimball Art Museum. This location is one I always love shooting at. The clean lines, white stone and stunning architecture make my artist heart happy. This is also the location where Katherine wanted to show off her flute playing skills so of course I used it as an opportunity to get creative.
