As a professional photographer, having a dedicated studio space is a definitely luxury (and expense).

So when I was deciding on the where and how of my own studio space I was faced with the choice of paying rent for a space that I would have to drive to each day, or building my own studio on our home property in Justin,Tx. The choice was obvious!

Being able to step out my backdoor and walk to my “office” definitely has it’s appeal.

And clients love the cozy and intimate environment. No busy streets or foot traffic going by. Just you, some music, beautiful light and amazing photos. 

So lets step inside for a quick tour of what to expect when coming to the Paisley Layne studio for your next session.

The first thing you will notice when you walk inside is the “nook” – this is the area where you will have your hair and make-up done for your session while sipping champagne.

The studio closet is stocked with all kinds of goodies for you. From high heels and jewelry, to lingerie and dresses – you will have everything you need to create your perfect look.

There is a private bathroom/changing room for you to get dressed in.

The shooting space has tons of room and lots of natural light.

There are headboards and an air mattress to create the perfect boudoir bed set-up, a variety of backdrops and furniture allows for variety and creativity in your images.
