Sometimes as a photographer, you have a session that is just a little more personal than some of the others. This session was that for me.

Jordan’s mom Roxanne and I were childhood friends. Our moms were good friends and even though we lived in different cities growing up, we got together in the summers for family beach vacations. So when Roxanne reached out to me about taking her daughter’s senior portraits I jumped at the chance.

I was willing to dive to them in San Antonio or meet in the middle, but they decided to come to Denton for a girl’s weekend. After Jordan had her hair and make-up done, we were off. First stopping at the Denton Square to explore some of my favorite spots.

We ended the day at Murrell park with some stunning sunset images (we even battled the crazy wind to get the great shots). The end result was well worth it!
