Kellie & Mitchell were married on Feb. 27th at the gorgeous Ashton Gardens Venue in Corinth, Tx. The day could not have been more amazing! When you plan a February wedding in Texas you never know what kind of weather you are going to get so when you end up with sunshine and warm temperatures it’s just one more sign that your wedding day is going to be perfect!

Kellie is a California girl who moved to Oklahoma to play volleyball at Tulsa University. Mitchell is a Texas boy who headed north after high school to play football in Tulsa. The two met and fell in love before deciding to make Texas their home. Not only are they a gorgeous couple, they are some of the sweetest and most fun people I have met. Their friends and family came from all over the celebrate their special day.

From the heartfelt ceremony to the tear filled first dances the whole day was filled with love, emotion and laughter and I was SO honored to have been part of it!

While Kellie & Mitchell chose not to see each other before the ceremony, Kellie wanted to have a special moment with her mom, dad and brother. So we planned for a First Look – family style!

The ceremony was amazing and one of the most emotional and personal ones I have seen!

The wedding party was a blast to work with….and may have been a little devious during some of the wedding party shots (Let’s just say it wasn’t safe for publishing 🙂

After formal portraits were done it was time to have fun! This afternoon reception was stunning – from the gorgeous details to the emotional father-daughter dance and even a fun Top Gun serenade from the groom and bride’s brother!

Even though the reception was over, the day was not done. Since most of the wedding guests were from out of town, the bride and groom had a fun night out planned for everyone. But before I left them we decided to head over the Gaylord Texas hotel where the couple was staying and take advantage of the gorgeous lake views and sunshine for a few bride & groom shots!
