This week’s P52 challenge involved using directional lighting, and in particular, using side light. This was a bit of a challenge for me for two reasons. 1- I am a natural light photographer so I will choose to shoot outside with natural light any day over shooting inside with light set-ups. 2- I am working with a 2 year old who doesn’t want to stay in one place long enough for me to get the look I am going for. That is why for this challenge I choose to shoot her right after her nap while she was still contained in her crib (I am SO not ready for the day she can get in and out of bed on her own). I ended up with two images that I really liked, so this week you get two to choose from. I can only add one to my P52 final album so let me know which one you like better in the comments.
