Project 52

Jan 13, 2014

This year I have decided to spend my year focusing on personal and creative growth. I want to push myself to try new things, get creative and think outside the box. So, in the spirit of growth I have decided to take on a Project 52 this year. Each week I follow the theme assigned by the group I am participating in and post to this blog. My plan is to attach a meaningful quote to each image so that at the end of the year I have a collection of personal and inspiring images to look back on and see how I have grown. I hope you enjoy!

Week one’s theme was Self Portrait. This was difficult for someone who usually hides behind the camera but I took some time to capture a quiet moment by myself during Brinley’s nap time.

Week Two’s theme was House on Fire- if you have just a few moments to get out of your burning house, what would you grab?  This was a fairly easy decision for me. There are very few physical things that I feel are irreplaceable in life, but my photo albums are near and dear to my heart. When everything else is gone, the memories that they hold will live on.
