It feels like I have know Taylor (and James) forever!
Partly because she is just that kind of person, the kind that you meet once and feel like you have been best friends forever, and partly because I first met her about 2 years ago when she came in to do a boudoir session for her then boyfriend.
We kept in touch through Facebook (and the private boudoir group that I run) and I even helped her pick out a dress to wear for the cruise where James would propose. The two of them together are pretty much perfect.
We shot their engagement session last summer in Grapevine. We opted for a morning session to avoid the heat, but there was definite heat between the two of them….and a little magic!
I don’t think I have ever laughed so much during a session! I could tell that these two were SO perfect together and I couldn’t wait for their wedding day!
Fast forward about 9 months and their wedding day finally arrived.
They chose the Artside venue in Flower Mound as the setting for their perfect…although a bit windy and chilly….spring day!
The bride looked stunning in her wedding dress, and the groom looked dapper in his suit and tie. The didn’t want to do a first look, but they did have a quick moment together before the ceremony, holding hands around the door.
During the ceremony they wrote their own vows not leaving a dry eye in the room (myself included). There were more tears during the reception when the bride not only danced with her dad, but did a mother-daughter dance!
The whole was filled with lots of love and excitement for this amazing couple.
I wish them a lifetime of happiness and can’t wait to see what their future holds!
