Wedding day planning

It is hard to imagine what exactly you will need the day of your wedding if an “emergency” comes about. It is possible that everything will go smoothly and you won’t need many of these items but it’s definitely better to be safe than sorry. Here is a list of 11 things you will be glad to have the day of your wedding.

  1. Q-Tips

These little guys are so versatile and can be used for so many emergencies. They are helpful for little things like cleaning up your makeup or any other kind of spot correction. Trust me, you need and will want these in your emergency kit.

  1. Scissors

You don’t need a huge pair of scissors or anything too crazy, just a simple pair of makeup scissors with do. You can do as much as cutting a loose string off your dress to trimming your eyebrows. You will find that you use them more than you think the day of your wedding.

  1. Feminine products

Now ladies, I think this one is pretty common sense because honestly, you just never know! You want to be prepared for anything, even if you think it’s not a possibility, you will want to be prepared.

  1. Makeup wipes

You will want these in case you need to remove the makeup from that morning or any extra from the night before. If you are having your makeup done by a professional they will usually have these for you. But as with most things, you just never can be too sure.

  1. Deodorant

The last thing you want on your big day is bad B.O. Especially when you will be doing a lot of hugging and touching people all night. You’ll be happy to have this handy with all that adrenalin you’ll be experiencing.

  1. Advil

We all know how bad it sucks to have a bad headache or a small ache and pain. You will be experiencing a lot of feelings as well as standing and dancing all day. This will be a welcomed savior when you start to feel the day wearing on you.

  1. Nail polish

I know that your nails will probably already be done for the big day but what if you get a chip? With how many pictures you will be taking of you, you will want to ensure your nails are in perfect shape all night.

  1. Mini Sewing kit

This ladies, this is just a MUST! It could be your dress, one of your bridesmaid’s dresses, or so many other things. You will want, better yet NEED, this essential in your emergency kit. You can thank me later!

  1. Stain remover

Once again, this is a must for the emergency kit. You will be eating, drinking, and encountering messy things all day long. You don’t want to have a stain on your dress or even your robe while you’re getting ready.  Tide Pens work wonders, so make sure you pack a few in your bag. With all the pictures being taken you want to be prepared.

  1. 10.Lotion

Dry skin is something we all deal with and honestly, it is just no fun. This will be nice for the occasional touch up or dry patch you come across. You will probably get a lot of use out of this item and will be glad you had it.

  1. 11.Snack

Lastly, you will want to have an emergency snack just in case you get light headed or find that you’re in need of a little pick me up. It is important to keep yourself lively and happy throughout the night and a snack could be the cure you need.

With these items, I can ensure you that you will be prepared for all kinds of emergencies that may come about. It will make your big day go by so much easier, with little hassle or worry. Also, if you’re in a wedding any time soon, this makes a great wedding day surprise to the unprepared bride.
